Entry/Exit Requirements

Many countries have requirements for visitors in addition to having a valid passport. All of the information for the entry/exit requirements can be found here at the US Department of State travel site. From travel warnings to tips for travel abroad to visa requirements, any and all information about foreign travel is posted. This page lists every country alphabetically. I went through the list and checked every country I thought I might visit on my trip and I wrote down entry/exit requirements for each. I made a separate list of countries that have "no" restrictions. (Obviously a passport is necessary, but that's about it for many places). Countries US Citizens Can Visit with Minimal* Restrictions:
(I've included countries with virtually minimal requirements, and added the additional conditions)
*Must have a valid passport that expires no less than 3 months from arrival date in each country
*Cannot stay for more than 90 days without a visa

• Mongolia- (by law, visitors must carry passport with them always)
• Montenegro- (must register with police station if not staying at hotel)

• New Zealand- (US citizens eligible for visa waiver)

Countries with Entry/Exit Requirements Beyond Holding a Valid Passport

This is not an all-inclusive list. I only researched countries that I planned on possibly visiting. 

**Vaccination for Yellow Fever only if coming from infected area, in most cases. Coutries considered at risk for infection: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Guyana, Venezuela.
